How to register to vote
The deadline to register to vote for elections on Thursday 2 May is Tuesday 16 April.
On 2 May 2024, residents of West Yorkshire will be able to vote for the Mayor of the West Yorkshire Combined Authority.
The Mayor will work alongside our five partner local authorities (Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield) to make a better, brighter West Yorkshire that works for all. The Mayor is also responsible for the functions of the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner and is able to appoint a Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime.
